Our mission is to serve YOU… when you want it, where you want it and how you want it... NOW!
Whether you’re ready to focus on your education, career, goals, life… NOW you can at Canadian Valley Tech.
Our programs and services help you if you’re going to college, if you’re ready to enter the workforce, if you’re an adult ready to make a career change or simply ready to expand your skills. Canadian Valley Tech is ready to help you get ready to focus on you, NOW.
Canadian Valley Tech: Focusing on Education
Each year, hundreds of students choose to maximize their education NOW by adding Canadian Valley’s career-focused curriculum to their class schedules. Our students learn to apply math, science and other subjects into their study of various career fields. As a result, our graduates are prepared to keep up with today’s high-tech, rapidly changing job market.
Canadian Valley’s record of preparing people to succeed in the professional world speaks for itself. Nearly 70% of our graduates have been hired for jobs directly related to the Career Education they received at the tech center. In addition, 93% of Canadian Valley’s students are employed, enter the military or pursue college degrees after graduation from one of our Career Programs.
Canadian Valley Tech: Focusing on Students
Canadian Valley Tech's student body is a diverse group of adults, high school students, business owners and senior citizens. A wide variety of students attend Canadian Valley’s Chickasha campus each year for college preparedness, to upgrade their existing skills, change their career options or to attain the education needed for both personal and professional development.
Focusing on Full-Time Career Programs
Canadian Valley’s Chickasha campus offers 14 full-time programs for high school and adult students. Our programs prepare students to further their education at the college-level, or to immediately enter the professional world. As the professional world has changed over the years, so have Canadian Valley’s Career Programs. This is especially true as we enter the dynamic 21st Century. Our Career Programs allow students to explore professional opportunities in the areas of Computer & Business, Health & Human Services, Information Technology, Occupational Services, Technical & Engineering, and Transportation.
Canadian Valley Tech: Focusing on Instruction
Canadian Valley not only provides students with modern equipment and program offerings, but we also deliver our curriculum through innovative teaching methods. Canadian Valley incorporates a mixture of theory and practical application into its programs. Students are taught the fundamental concepts of their chosen field and then learn to apply them in professional lab environments. This approach not only helps our students to master highly technical procedures, it gives them a head start on developing the work ethic employers demand from employees.
Not everyone learns at the same pace. As a result, a typical “lock-step” curriculum (one in which all students complete the same lessons, at the same time) does not allow for individual learning capabilities. This is why the tech center utilizes an “open-entry, open-exit” format for our students. In our Career Programs, students that complete the course requirements ahead of schedule are able to customize their remaining training, graduate early or apply what they have learned through on-the job training programs.
NOW Canadian Valley Tech is here to help you get ready to focus on... You.
