Pre-Engineering
A college prep program exclusively for high school juniors and seniors who like math and science. A wide course selection of math and science classes is taught along with 4 different engineering courses. Courses are taught at the pre-AP or AP level, and include algebra 2, trig/pre-calculus, calculus, physics and chemistry. Students use the design process and critical thinking skills along with modern equipment to build robots, fabricate computer designed objects, design electric circuits, and perform labs for real- world application of engineering concepts.
In our Pre-Engineering program, tactics you will learn may include:
- Usage of Physics Principles Equipment
- Analysis and Design Software
- Teamwork and Goal Setting
- Building & Programming Basic Robotics
- Design & Fabrication of Introductory Engineering Projects
