  • CVTC Holds Ribbon Cutting for New Czech Hall Campus

    MUSTANG - Canadian Valley Technology Center introduced its third campus through a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m. The Czech Hall campus, also known as the Dr. Earl Cowan campus, which was named after recently retired superintendent of 38 years, is located on the southwest corner of SW 15th street & Czech Hall Road (between Mustang and Yukon). Cutting the ribbon is Cowan (left) and CVTC Board of Education President Jimmie Vickrey (right). The two are pictured with the Mustang Chamber of Commerce, Mustang school representatives, and CV Tech administrators.

  • CV Tech Ambassadors Experience Francis Tuttle Tech Center

    CHICKASHA – Canadian Valley Technology Center’s student ambassadors traveled to Oklahoma City recently to tour Francis Tuttle Technology Center. Francis Tuttle is part of Oklahoma’s CareerTech system, as is CV Tech. They toured all three of Francis Tuttle’s campuses: Reno, Rockwell and Portland. Students who attended were Carl Moore and Hesston Wyatt, of Am-Po HS; Brad Thorne, Am-Po HS graduate; Rachel Edge, Taneka Blakes, Alicia Petalcu, Brocke Quillin and Michiaela Surber, all of Chickasha HS; and Randi Rowland, of Tuttle HS. The Ambassador program is funded by the CVTC Foundation Board.

    CHICKASHA – Canadian Valley Technology Center’s student ambassadors toured Moore Norman Technology Center campuses last week. Moore Norman is part of Oklahoma’s CareerTech system, as is Canadian Valley Tech. Students toured the main campus, referred to as the Franklin Road campus, and then toured the new South Penn campus, located in Southwest Oklahoma City. The Ambassador program is funded by the CVTC Foundation.

  • Former student Sarah McDaniel takes over as Health Careers instructor

    CHICKASHA – Former Canadian Valley Technology Center student Sarah McDaniel recently accepted the Health Careers instructor position.
    McDaniel completed the Health Careers program while a high school student at Am-Po, and earned her practical nursing license through CVTC as an adult. She has five years nursing home experience, and is also currently pursuing an AAS in Nursing through Redlands Community College.
    While at Redlands, McDaniel earned membership into the Phi Theta Kappa international honor society.
    McDaniel resides in Chickasha will husband Jonathan and daughter, Naudia.
