NEW CLASS! Do you want to know how to maintain your car and save money? Do you need a second opinion or someone to answer your car questions? Do you want to know how to repair your car and save money on car repairs? If you want to learn how to maintain, repair and service your car, this class is for you.
For Auto Maintenance, you will learn safe use of tools; proper maintenance intervals for fluids/hoses/belts/filters; how to select/change/install a battery, safely jack or jump-start your car, change a flat and/or replace/rotate a tire, replace head/tail lights; and, gap/replace plugs. .
For Auto Repair, you will learn about minor component replacements; using meters and advanced tools to perform tune-ups, diagnose tire/shock/alignment, diagnose performance problems (like rough running, hard starting, knocking, stalling, power loss, poor gas mileage); and, diagnosing brake problems. No Prerequisite: Safety glasses required, book optional - after the first class.
